I am assistant professor at the Department of Political Science at Zirve University (Turkey).
My research focuses on cultural politics, particularly on the performing arts. My current research is on Italian opera and national identity in the 19th century.
I am interested in the construction of identities and on the ways power and culture interacts. I have a soft spot for political theories.
